The State of Illinois is one of the greenest states in the U.S. In 2012, it announced the $1 billion Illinois Clean Water Initiative, which will overhaul the State’s aging water infrastructure. The State is also home to the state of the art Rush University Medical Centre, which just completed contraction of its $800 million east tower – to LEED Gold standards. The State of Illinois’ commitment to sustainability will be showcased at the GLOBE 2014 Exposition.
