We are pleased to work with Metro Vancouver for GLOBE 2014. Home to over 2.3 million people, Metro Vancouver comprises 24 members: 22 municipalities, one electoral area and one treaty First Nation. In planning for the future of the region, one of its missions is to:
Develop and use an integrated system of plans to manage all activities within Metro Vancouver’s legislated scope of authority towards the achievement of a sustainable region.
Its “Future of the Region Sustainability Dialogues” are in partnership with Chambers of Commerce and Board of Trades across Metro Vancouver and facilitate open conversation between local experts on innovative solutions to challenging regional issues.
